Veer asks him to make Sameer meet him at the IMA grounds during the exchange of cadets program. Zaara agrees to meet him, but only if Veer promises to not leave her. Veer goes to see Sameer at his house under Gogo's instruction. Sameer is unaware that Zaara is the daughter of his father's colleague, and uses this loophole in order to get close to Zaara. He poses as a poor boy looking for a job, but when she asks for money, he tells her that he has no access to it.
